District M Consulting was founded in May 2017 with the aim of assisting our clients in running  high performing businesses, maximizing investment returns and delivering impactful economic  development. We have significant experience in the fields of executive management,  investment management as well as expertise in investment and export promotion.

District M Consulting provides advisory services to investors and investment funds throughout the full investment  lifecycle, management advisory services to established companies and  start-ups, and consulting services to public sector entities, IFIs and NGOs aiming at supporting  economic development.

Garen Mikirditsian

Founder and Managing Partner

Garen Mikirditsian’s professional career incorporates significant experience in executive  leadership, investment management, and investment banking roles, most recently serving as  CEO of the Development Foundation of Armenia (DFA), a governmental agency dedicated to  attracting investments, promoting exports and expanding the country’s tourism potential.

Prior to his role at the DFA, Mr. Mikirditsian was CFO of Inecobank CJSC, a major commercial  bank in Armenia. Previously, he was President and CEO of General Donlee Canada Inc., a  leading stock exchange listed manufacturer of aircraft engine components in Toronto, where  he led a major turnaround effort, spearheaded the company’s growth strategy and  administered its sale to Triumph Group Inc. (NYSE:TGI) in 2013 for approximately $110  million.

Mr. Mikirditsian was Vice President at the Toronto offices of private investment firm  Geosam Investments Limited, where he managed activist, value and private equity  investments. Previously, he spent three years in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of BMO  Capital Markets, a major Canadian investment bank, where he was involved in a wide range  of public and private M&A advisory mandates.

Mr. Mikirditsian is a graduate of Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business in  Montreal where he received a Master of Business Administration degree, and holds a  Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Mechanical Engineering Honours Program at McGill  University. Mr. Mikirditsian is fluent in Armenian, English, French and Arabic. He resides in  Yerevan, Armenia with his wife and four children.
